NewJeans’ Agency ADOR Launches Boy Group Formation with “Audition Announcement”

On June 12, ADOR, the HYBE-affiliated label known for managing the global sensation NewJeans, officially announced the launch of its “ADOR Boys Global Audition” through its website and various social media platforms.
The newly announced audition aims to discover the next generation of male K-pop stars and is open to all male applicants born after 2006, regardless of nationality. The first round consists of an online application process, with submissions being accepted until 5 p.m. KST on July 2. Those who pass the initial screening will be invited to participate in offline auditions in select cities.

In-person auditions will take place across nine cities in South Korea Seoul, Jeonju, Daegu, Busan, Gwangju, Daejeon, Wonju, Chuncheon, and Jeju offering widespread opportunities for domestic applicants. Internationally, auditions will be held in 19 cities, including Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, and Nagoya in Japan; Singapore; Jakarta, Indonesia; Bangkok, Thailand; Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in Vietnam; Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle in the U.S.; Vancouver and Toronto in Canada; Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane in Australia; and Auckland, New Zealand.
With the unprecedented global success of NewJeans, expectations are high for what ADOR’s first male idol project could become. Through this wide-reaching audition, ADOR aims to build a new group that resonates with fans around the world from day one.
